TMI but I've been searching the internet for hours and can't find the information I need.
After having diarrhea off and on (mostly on) for the past week or so, I've got a swollen red bump near my "backdoor." It doesn't hurt to use the restroom but it is tender to the touch and is pretty sore after I get home from working all day and I've been active plus had my clothes rubbing back there all day. Does this sound like a hemorrhoid? If so, what is the quickest way to treat it? If not, what could it be?

I had them really bad while I was pregnant and right after I delivered. I bled like crazy every time I went to the rest room and it was extremely painful.
come to find out I also had a fissure.

Anyway there are "external hemorrhoids" so maybe it is? Maybe you just have a high pain tolerance in "that area" so it doesn't hurt when you go to the bathroom.
Id check with your doctor though to be safe!!

Dose not sound like hemorrhoid to me i'd go to Dr. as soon as you can.

Can't say for sure, but it definitely sounds like a hemorrhoid. It could have come from constant irritation from having the runs for so long. Here are some things that will help: warm baths, keep the area clean (use flushable wipes), go easy on fatty foods, and applying a bit of hemorrhoidal cream to the area if necessary.
